Working Group "Geothermal Energy" of the German Geophysical Society

The Geothermal work-group of the DGG deals with geophysical challenges for the use of geothermal energy. With this circle we want to promote the networking of groups in Germany and thus act as a nucleus for joint activities.

Members / Email List

The Geothermal work-group is aimed at anyone interested in the geophysical challenges of using geothermal energy (reservoir development, exploration, deep waters, geomechanics and induced seismicity, and numerics). For this purpose, the work-group leads a distribution list. To this list, circulars of the spokespersons of the working group, job postings and other messages are sent, which are of interest to all. The list is managed by J. Bremer (KIT). If you would like to register or send a message to the list, please contact Mrs Bremer.
