My research is focused on different fields of rock and mineral magnetism, e.g. shock-induced changes of magnetic properties and their relation to microstructures and magnetic fatigue effects. Furthermore, I am studying fabrics of crystalline and sedimentary rocks using magnetic and microstructural tools and are involved in projects related to the Fe-mineralogy and their significance for redox conditions (environmental magnetism).
